    貼文者按：在傳統基督教信仰中，天堂是我們要去的地方，也是我們眾聖徒
    的盼望。可是最近，（主的恢復）認為天堂的說法與異教容易混同，所以要
    改、不想說。但是我覺得，這是枝節問題，不要因此傷了眾聖徒的和氣。總
    之，作基督徒是有盼望的，那盼望，你說是天堂也好，你說是新耶路撒冷也
    好，總之是極榮耀、極美好的地方。讚美我主！

    我若去為你們預備了地方，就必再來接你們到我那裡去；我在哪裡，叫你們
也在那裡。—約翰福音 14 章 3 節
    If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive
you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. — John 14:3

    一對夫妻把年邁的嬸嬸接來同住。他們擔心她會住得不自在。於是，他們把
家中一個房間，裝潢得與嬸嬸家裡的臥室一模一樣。嬸嬸到達之後，覺得那房間
裡的傢具、掛飾，以及其他心愛的物品，都如此熟悉，像是在對她說：「歡迎回
家！」

    在約翰福音 13 章 36 節 -14 章 4 節，耶穌在最後的晚餐中對門徒說話，
預備他們面對祂的死亡。西門彼得問：「檷要往哪裡去？」耶穌回答：「我所去
的地方，你現在不能跟我去，後來卻要跟我去」（13 章 36 節）。耶穌繼續對
彼得（也對其他的跟隨者）說：「在我父的家裡有許多住處；若是沒有，我就早
已告訴你們了；我去原是為你們預備地方去。我若去為你們預備了地方，就必再
來接你們到我那裡去；我在哪裡，叫你們也在那裡。」（14 章 2-3 節）

    天堂是萬國萬民基督徒將來要團聚的家，它也是我們天父的家。祂在那裡，
為你、為我預備好了一個房間。

A Place For You

    A couple who brought their elderly aunt to live with them were
concerned that she would not feel at home. So they transformed a room
in their house into an exact replica of her bedroom at the home she
left behind. When their aunt arrived, her furniture, wall hangings,
and other favorite things felt like a special 「 Welcome home! 」 to
her.

    In John 13:36 – 14:4, we read that at the Last Supper Jesus spoke
to His disciples and tried to prepare them for His death. When Simon
Peter asked, 「 Where are you going? 」 Jesus replied, 「 Where I am
going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward 」
(13:36). Jesus was still speaking directly to Peter (and also meant it
for all of His followers) when He said, 「 In My Father 』 s house are
many mansions [rooms]; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go
to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you
may be also 」 (14:2-3).

    Heaven is a family gathering of believers from every tribe and
nation, but it is also our Father 』 s house — and in that house He
is preparing a room just for you.

    When you arrive in heaven and Jesus opens the door, you 』 ll know
 you 』 re home.
