Reproduce bodhi tree with seeds

The seeds of bodhi tree requires higher than 25 degree centigrade to germinate. 30 degree centigrade is preferred.

Bodhi trees that are not in tropical zones may not be able to produce mature seeds.

In our experience, the seeds of Bodhi trees can mature in Taipei, Taiwan. If there is no other bodhi trees nearby, the DNA of the seedlings will be the same as the original one. If there are other bodhi trees nearby, the DNA of the seedlings will be somewhat different.

Therefore, using seeds is the easiest way to reproduce Bodhi trees in Taiwan.
